This morning I was unjustifiably lazy. After getting myself up at 4:30—a reasonable hour for a Saturday, it seemed! 😇—I didn't begin riding until just past 6:00, and then I allowed myself to settle for mere consecutive round trips to Marsh Park, completing the 18 miles in a deliberate 2:20. When I began riding, the 54° air, while brisk for t-shirt and shorts, was by no means unacceptable, and by the time I finished it had heated up to a toasty 62°!
Finally, I was happy to reach another milestone today—1200 miles for the year (the same date on which I reached it last year).
