Total mileage for 2017: 752.8
Today I replicated yesterday's ride, except that I shaved a little distance off by avoiding the Silo Ride subdivision on the way back from the park my third and final time. However, my time was a bit slower, so overall my pace was somewhat more sluggish. Today's ride was an even 26 miles, completed in 3:12.
When I began, at 10:45, it was gray and felt somewhat cool (at 58°) to be riding in short sleeves, though it was by no means intolerable. And by the end, it had heated up to 68*, and most of the clouds had gone away. I'm especially glad to have put together back to back days of three round trips, and tomorrow I'll shoot for three such consecutive days. If I can do that, I'll be within reach of making 800 miles for the year, after just having reached 700 on Sunday.
Alan, Congrats! Drove to Chelsea and rode to Munith after school this afternoon. It was perfect with the sun shining. Slowly getting back in shape with mostly weekend rides. Love your blog and photos. I know you'll be ready for PALM in June. rob
